Our ML algorithm is internally trained, tested, and evaluated by highly skilled orthopaedic surgeons. JESO Machine Learning has over 5+ years of experience evaluating arthritis and joint wear from simple X-rays of knees and hips.
How does JESO use ML?
Our ML technology assesses joint degeneration in knees and hips with near 100% accuracy, trained on over 10,000 X-rays and validated by expert surgeons including Dr. Tony DiGioia. JESO also factors in patient-reported pain and function levels.
Human validation is still necessary.
Machine learning is one component of the JESO experience. It supports the evaluation process but does not make final recommendations independently. Every report is personally reviewed by Dr. DiGioia to ensure accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
